Sliding Scale Eligibility
Sliding scale eligibility is determined based on: scope of preparation required, number of parties, documentation volume, and the financial circumstances of the parties. The goal is proportionality — not uniform pricing.
Scheduling, Cancellation & Rescheduling
When a session is reserved, that time is committed to your matter and other engagements are declined. For that reason, the following policy applies to all scheduled mediations.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be received in writing at least five (5) business days before the scheduled session. With timely notice, there is no charge, and rescheduled sessions are accommodated whenever possible.
With less than five business days’ notice, a late-cancellation fee applies: two (2) hours at the applicable hourly rate for half-day sessions, and four (4) hours for full-day sessions. The fee is shared equally by the parties unless otherwise agreed. If the reserved time can be filled with another matter, the fee is waived.
